Ana Firmino

Ana Firmino was born on Sal Island in 1953. But it was only around the age of thirty that she started to dedicate herself totally to music. She has performed numerous times in Cape Verde and in Europe, particularly in Portugal, including on television.

She collaborated on two themes of the LP "Feiticeira di Côr Morena" by Travadinha. In 1989 she went to the Gulbenkian Acarte Encounters and edited the album "Carta de nha Cretcheu" through Kolá Records. He emigrates to Portugal in the early 1990s.

She participated as an actress in the films Fintar o Destino, 1998, and Testamento do Senhor Napumoceno, 1997. In 1998 she edited the album Amor É Tão Sabe. In 2003 the album "Viva Vida" was edited.

One of his best known songs is Chico Malandro, produced by Tito Paris.

She is the mother of the musician Boss AC.
