Maria Alice de Fátima Rocha Silva, better known as Maria Alice, is a Cape Verdean music singer, born on October 23, 1961, on the island of Sal, in Cape Verde. She settled in Portugal, in the city of Lisbon, in 1981, performing in shows with other musicians from the Diaspora, and was immediately habitually present in the programs of the Lisbon halls Ritz Club and B. Leza, among others.

Dedicated to the popular genres Morna and Coladeira, it has as a great reference Cesária Évora. She recorded her debut album in 1994, entitled Ilha d'Sal. Besides Portugal and Cape Verde, she has performed in concerts and festivals in many countries.
