Juary Livramento is a young man from Boa Vista. His passion for music began at the age of 17, when he began to learn guitar. The magic he felt when he began to add the lyrics of the traditional Cape Verdean mornas to the newly conquered musical chords deeply touched the soul of this Boa Vistan. Already with an album edited, Juary Livramento dreams of being able to conquer the four corners of the world with the new sounds of the morna and the coladeira.
In 2008 he achieved one of his greatest ambitions: to edit his first musical work. The album, entitled "Santa Budista", is a tribute to the morna, coladeira and batuque, styles that are unavoidable in traditional Cape Verdean music. "Santa Budista" brings together eleven musical themes, some of which are by composers from the island of Boa Vista. "Publishing this album was a dream come true. It was a special and unique moment in which I saw materialized the fruit of the work of years of effort and sacrifice".
